    Legal justification is based on a legitimate interest assessment, ensuring that the need for surveillance outweighs privacy concerns.

3. Placement and Operation of Cameras

  • Cameras are installed only in areas justified by security risks.
  • No cameras are positioned in a way that directly monitors employees’ workspaces.

  • Cameras are equipped with masking technology to limit the recording areas to only record areas of interest.

    (Mon to Friday) at 18:00 and ending on weekdays at 6:00.

4. Data Retention and Handling

  • Storage Duration: Recorded footage is retained for a maximum of two weeks, unless required for an ongoing investigation.
  • Deletion Policy: Footage is automatically overwritten after the retention period.
  • Limitations: Footage is used strictly for security purposes and is never used for general monitoring of employees or visitors.

5. Access and Disclosure of Recorded Data

Access to recorded material is restricted to authorized personnel only. Disclosure may occur only under the following circumstances:

  • Individuals’ Access: Persons appearing in footage may request to view their images, provided it doesn’t affect the privacy of others.
  • Law Enforcement: Police or prosecutors may access footage if required for investigating a crime punishable by imprisonment.
  • Emergency Services: Authorities responsible for public safety may request footage to prevent or mitigate an accident.
    Any disclosure is authorized ONLY by Legal Counsel or the Data Protection Lead.
